100 things about guys (from a girl's perspective)

unknown to many of the male species (except for a very privileged friend with whom i have previously disclosed this study) i've been observing guys. yup, i've been studying them. nope, i'm not a stalker. i just wanted to see their behaviour and here's what i found out. (warning: this is from a girl's perspective!!!)


1. some guys cry (even without tears)
2. some guys complain by scratching their heads
3. some guys keep quiet when they actually have something to say
4. some guys hate poems... or like the cheesy ones, for that matter
5. some guys really can't appreciate what is left unsaid... although they try to
6. some guys don't even hear words left unsaid!... or hate guessing if there are words left unsaid
7. some guys listen to the wind and hear words unsaid
8. some guys are just too talented they make you feel inadequate
9. some guys like weird colors (i.e. metallic pink or neon black)
10. some guys give immediate solutions without listening to the whole problem
11. most guys like videogames and adventure stuff
12. most guys love to eat
13. some guys actually wait
14. most guys don't understand girls
15. some guys don't know what to do when a girl is crying
16. some guys love to be listened to... at least, they look like it
17. some guys have no sense of time
18. some guys smell good
19. most guys don't want to make decisions
20. most guys hate airy philosophy and want to talk about the real tangible stuff (which means those who do are rare?)
21. some guys want to show the girl that they care but they are somehow misunderstood
22. some guys can cook really really well
23. some guys love teasing girls about their [girl's] crushes
24. some guys can't stand movies about love
25. some guys don't know when to hold an umbrella for a girl or when to carry her things or when to open the door for her
26. some guys hate being gentlemen
27. some guys pretend that they have won an argument even if they haven't
28. some guys love being outwitted by girls
29. most guys just want to laugh... even if they have loads of problems
30. most guys prefer movies to books

32. some guys don't know how to react when given gifts or compliments by a girl

34. most guys just keep quiet when a girl is angry

48. some men want to lead a group but find it disrespectful to offer a suggestion to a female leader

50. some guys feel awkward around a pretty girl but like stealing glimpses of her and hoping she'd see them too
